Yeah, that's what I am thinking. Just need to get the enthusiasm back to actually pick up a book.

If you're a reader you'll eventually start reading. All readers take time off.

I'm the same :(. I focused so heavily at uni on researching artist and art that my reading fiction went to the side and now I'm finished I can't seem to follow through on my reading. It's really annoying

I go through cycles. I get really into reading for a couple of months before it dies off and is replaced by something else (like video games or browsing the internet for stupid stuff). Then, after a couple months, I loss interest in that and I become a heavy reader again.
My last reading dry spell was from late July- early September. I'm expecting my next dry spell to start in mid November when the new Pokémon game and Fantastic Beasts Lego Dimension set come out.

I, too, go through cycles in which I read daily, sometimes voraciously, and then read nothing for days or weeks.
Yesterday I read an acclaimed novel cover to cover (
                Dog's Body
), and more of another novel I'm not enjoying nearly so much, but that was mainly because I was traveling and there was nothing else I could or should be doing.

I don't read a lot of short stories but I find they're perfect for when I get into that kind of mood.

My reading habit has really changed in the last ten years. Primarily that is because I've been in business proposal writing in one form or another during this time, and I spend all day reading, reviewing, researching, editing, etc. And oftentimes when I get home, I'm involved in my own writing, which requires its own reading, reviewing, researching, editing, etc.

My reading habits have changed over the course of my life. I used to read voraciously then the internet seriously put a dent in my habit. It does take up time I used to spend with a book instead.
Other activities and new hobbies have also put a dent in my reading, and now I get through a book very, very slowly, sometimes just a few pages at a time where before I would read chunks.
