My mate used to buy star wars figures and never opened the them, so years later he could sell them. Needless to say I didn't play with him much. The bastard.

Does a bike count? That was essential for a neighborhood kid in the 90's.
Also loved plastic katanas…. Nerf and waterguns. I loved anything where you could dress up (or just keeping all my Halloween. I loved mad scientist type toys like Dr. Dreadful.
Also really loved action figures. Loved Ninja Turtles so much my mom called all my figures Ninja Turtles. Loved figures from movies like Batman and Predator. There used to be a whole line of Predator and Alien toys.
Super Nintendo and Sega count, right? Only got to play the latter at my friend's cousin's house. Same with the trampoline until he got one. Then we never went over to her house lol. I think he was just using his cousin for the trampoline.
