But this is just me relaying what a whole segment of the populous are trying to be heard saying but can't find the means to be heard.
Believe me, there is much darker humour out there and it is only reflecting sentiment held by those who feel ignored.
This is exactly how bad things start and it isn't going to get any better until some elected politicians start to represent everyone in their community and not just some.
I may joke about the history of Germany and the UK within recent history but this is nothing new in the history of the world and it always ends with innocent people dying. Everywhere and at any every time.
How long until NATO conscripts young men to go to Russia? What will they be fighting for?

We are on a board which discusses performances of people dressing up and acting out stories and so having some of this enter into conversation makes sense every now and then.

I could posit that globalisation is an inherent trait across the Western world and that, as economic shifts occur in areas which provide food - such as Ukraine, all thing related to the macro can be seen in the micro and therefore all conversations about contemporary issues would fall under the mandate of acceptable but you don't want to hear that either
