        This retard is living in some fantasy world where rent and housing only goes up 4% a year. Renter is also going to move at least 5 or 6 times over that same time span which is a pain in the ass. And if the homeowner is married the exemption is $500,000 instead. It also ignores states like CA where property tax increases are limited by law.
        Most of these people telling you not to buy are either useful idiots or paid mouth pieces trying to gaslight everyone into not caring that investors are buying up all the homes so they can outsource their price fixing to third party algorithms. If owning wasn't profitable they wouldn't be doing it.
