your relatives are not your guardians so therefore they can't submit the claims on yoyr behalf. you need to get certified/authenticated copies of these records for yourself.
also,maybe,possibly, just because you lived at home doesnt automatically make you a dependent. so unless your father legally had you designated as a dependent, this may change the dynamic of your status as a claimant.

I don't think this is going to be as straightforward as she thinks. I'm assuming that she or her representative will have to prove that her father's death was a direct result of the contaminated water. Will she also have to prove that she herself had been affected? Also if he's deceased is she still a dependant?

I don't know how long, weeks, months, or years, until I get more money, for Lejeune. I want it to practice violin and learn German still … but also to go out and have a life. I don't drink and smoke, though.
