Based on observation, only a select few of you actually have jobs, but for the productive members of society here, what's your story?
How do you cope? I'd love to hear it, as I'm currently dealing with my first coworker feud ever, and I just feel broken.
Please let me know I'm not alone! -

Monday to Friday all I do is work and I think during the Zoom/Teams setup we all have now everything’s become pretty toxic.
Talk more about yourself, what specific issues do you have with them

Just someone I work with who has been Jonseing for my position. Too tipsy to talk about it.
I thought it came to a head in February, but it was worse today.
Thank heavens the executive team saw what he was trying to pull and tore him a new one, but it's still bitterly disheartening. -

I’m a doctor and there’s this other doctor who occasionally tries to slap my ass when I’m performing an operation and **** me up (thereby screwing up the surgery and possibly killing the patient). I think I may have to report him to the authorities before someone gets seriously hurt or I’ll just let him suck my dick. Still debating.

All I will say is:
Bryce tries to micromanage EVERYTHING although he's not an office manager and not in charge of anything. Always trying to dole out tasks and tell everyone else what to do as if we were on HIS time clock.
Anally-retentive WASP who gets on everyone's last nerve.

I remember one evening when we had to stay at work late and it was Bryce's turn to lock up. My husband was waiting in the car for me to clock out, so I asked Bryce if he could come in and wait inside because it was cold out that evening.
He told me that non-employees are not allowed in the building after hours. Do you know this asshole let his boyfriend come in to wait INSIDE OF THE OFFICE until we were ready to leave????

Nothing as bad as what you have going on…
One of my first real jobs was at a big retailer (prepping product for the photo studio) and I got moved to sitting at a computer and coordinating what product came in/out of the studio. It was obviously more glamorous than steaming scarves and stuffing purses and the girls I'd been working with got super nasty with me, started telling each other I'd said things I didn't, yelling at me, etc. Lots of crying in the bathroom at that job.
More recently, had a guy that would constantly undermine me and say insulting things about me to my boss. It seemed to click in his head that we weren't rivals and he got over it. Maybe he got more secure in his position, idk. I didn't do anything to resolve it other than laugh at his antics.

But with that dude, he sent a super rude email to me once with a couple other people copied and one of the white knight type guys forwarded it to our boss and said this guy had shown a long pattern of disrespect to me. My boss called me and asked if it was true and if we were getting along. Awkward as ****.
