I have a new 65-inch Sony OLED TV as well as a Panasonic UB-820 4k Blu Ray player.
However, with some blu rays whenever I either hit the stop, chapter skip, rewind or fast-forward buttons the TV or player plays for a few more frames before stopping completely.
Is it the TV or the player that causes this issue? Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated.

No idea. But I have noticed a similar occurrence with the PS5. Maybe it's a bug with the discs or possibly something to do with standard settings on blu ray players that can be adjusted.

I’ve found the solution. I had to change the HDMI setting on the TV to enhanced for both the player as well as the sound bar.
