Walmart is better than Amazon for online shopping

I've been having more and more problems with Amazon. Delays in shipping, damaged products, etc. They're taking their position as the online shopping mall for granted. Walmart really wants a piece of the online business – you can tell. They ship faster, better packaging, often better prices and no hassle return without extra fee. There is nothing special about Amazon anymore.
The only good thing might be the reviews on Amazon, but often it's complete paid bullshit. -

I have never had problems with delays, just product quality. Walmart used to be the devil but now Amazon is and Walmart wants that spot back. They already have a network of distribution centers and their stores can also deliver products "the last mile", and I don't think Amazon has anything similar.

I don't give a **** about Walmart, but if they can provide some competition to Amazon, I'm good with that. And frankly, if Walmart is doing a better job at least in some aspects of online shopping, then they deserve more business than Amazon.

Turns out, clearing out a Target or Walmart, then reselling it all on Amazon, can make you enough money to pay off your house
https://melmagazine.com/en-us/story/inside-the-strange-yet-profitable-world-of-retail-arbitrage
Here’s an example: In one video that I stumbled upon, an arbitrager purchases 182 ‘Monopoly for Millennials’ board games from several local Walmarts, for $19.82 each. Then, within less than 24 hours, he managed to sell 131 of them on Amazon for $77.29 each, which leaves him with an impressive profit of $2,500, even after deducting shipping costs and fees (he presumably sold the remaining 51 board games on a later date for even more profit). -

Ya, Ebay is full of this stuff, too. You ever see the same item on eBay but prices ranging from about the same as Amazon to 2 or 3 times the price for exactly the same item ? There are armies of people doing this now. Sometimes, the stuff is cheaper on Amazon, so what they do is just advertise on eBay with a market up price and when someone orders it on eBay, they just order it from Amazon with the buyer's address. Most people are either too busy or lazy to price shop and usually only shop from one or two online places, and they get jacked by arbitragers. eBay is good, though, for finding stuff no other site has. But more and more, unless it's a used item, it actually costs more on eBay than other places and even if it's used, it often costs more on eBay because a lot of times they are resellers of used gear, not private individuals. I buy stuff that's discontinued or parts for old equipment on eBay because you can't find it anywhere else.

The walmart site seems to actually have a much better selection of **** than amazon. At christmas time I spent around $1500 on the online walmart site ordering stuff, $0 on amazon this year. Found the c64 mini system for like $30 less than anywhere else was selling it at less than $50, 128mb SD cards for $12, etc.
The selection of stuff on amazon is also much lower quality.

Amazon is not a place that only sells quality stuff. I wish there were an online place who only sells grade A material and back it with their name, but Amazon is not that. They're much more like eBay than anything else, especially now that they let just about anyone open up shop there and sell stuff. There are a lot of Chinese companies now on Amazon who sell stuff there and some of their stuff is pretty much junk, but generally they're dirt cheap and somehow they ship for free from China. But as much as the Chinese stuff get **** on, some of their stuff is actually not bad and they are almost always like half the price at least. I've had good luck with most of their electronic knockoffs and tools like screw driver sets.
