Ive had that happen to me before with a dress i was buying to wear that same day. I was annoyed because i really didn't have time to go back to the store
Now i watch to make sure they get those off before i pay -

Same. Took a hammer, a pair of pliers, and ripped it off without tearing my pants.

I've only encountered the tag once, but it didn't have any ink in it. So I guess it depends on the store or something? I dunno. Or maybe I lucked out and got a faulty tag.
What are you doing shoplifting? Lol My cousin and I used to swipe makeup from department stores in HS. Never got caught once.
