    Stupid american real estate agents gave morgatages and loans to Billy Bob, Cletus and Bubba who had no way in hell of paying them back, instead spent the money on shotguns, fried chicken and moonshine, their banks interest rates went up and had a knock on (domino) effect that messed up evey other bank, (seeing as pretty much every bank is owned by a bigger bank) and all thats filterd down to here in England where people are loosing their houses.
    Thanks very much stupid american real estate agents.

        It wasn't helped by deregulation of the banking system, which removed any safety net for one banking service to survive while another faced collapse.
