Nothing comes to mind. I'm not really enjoying food these days.

        Chicken piccata, wild rice, spinach.

Were they signal crayfish, white-clawed crayfish or red swamp crayfish?
And did you have coriander with them?
As for me, I whipped up a lasagne yesterday morning and had it for lunch and last evening while I was schooling a whipping boy

Lasagna sounds quite good right now. As I've mentioned above, I don't have much of an appetite lately.

              You tried any soups?
A decent soup can sort you right out and you can take your time with it and treat it like a beverage
Quick and easy too, most you need it onions and water - beyond that the sky is the limit

Feijoas are in season here and my neighbor has a tree full of fruit that she generously shares with me and other neighbors. They are delicious!

                      Feijoas
NGL, I had to Google that:
Feijoa (or pineapple guava) has a unique, aromatic tropical flavor often described as a mix of pineapple, guava, and strawberry or pear. Its texture is similar to a gritty pear or jelly, featuring a sweet-tart, custard-like pulp and a slightly bitter, tart skin. It offers a refreshing, slightly floral taste experience.
They sound marvelous. Glad you got a free dollop of them!

One of my local grocery stores has a butcher shop that puts out their own St. Patty's Day corned beef sausages this time of year. Damn good! Not sure what the actual ingredients are, but generally speaking it consists of a combination of ground meat and ground corned beef, onions, and a wee bit of potato. Nicely seasoned. They're awesome. I also had some really good corned beef and California broccoli salad. Yep, St. Patrick's Day was a good occasion for some tasty grindage.
