If you poor enough lighter fluid on the charcoal and apply open flame, it is guaranteed to light off.
You're probably the type of guy who buys this specially formulated for clueless people..you toss in the lit match right? -

Nope, I buy the regular Kingsford. Then I douche it down with the cheapest lighter fluid I can buy and apply open flame from underneath. I can tell you from experience to use gasoline only sparingly, and to use caution if doing so. -

So far so good. You don't lit the charcoal immediately after soaking them in lighter fluid though. -

It's probably best to let the lighter fluid soak in a for a few minutes, especially when it's cold out, but if you pour enough on, it doesn't matter.
I've been through countless grills and have barbequed using several methods, but my favorite is to put the charcoal on one side of the grill and barbecue the meat on the other side using indirect heat. This is probably best for those of us who prefer the meat cooked rare. -

Now what about smoking the meat inside a wood smoker? Do you like that as well? -

I've never tried that.
I would think that this would require a substantial amount of time?
At least 6 hours. Maybe more. But the flavor profile is yummy. And smoking meat is an art. I guess you didn't really like BBQ all that much huh? You're not a so called 'grill master:? -

Nope, I would never do a six-hour barbeque. -

It's not like you gotta stand there watching it.
But whatever. You're a really boring man.
I might consider it then. About twenty years ago I did have a grill with the smoker attachment on the side, but I never used that feature. I have no idea of how many grills I've worn out. -

I'm probably wrong about the cooking time. However I know a dude that smokes his meat. It be out there smoking for hours unattended. And when he ready to start serving it, that's when he stands there. -

How bout I come over and fire up you charcoal grill? I know how. My mom taught me.
Good idea.
Then bitchsurn can show you in return, how it repairs a car.
Take a worthless car, because bitchsurn isn't able to.
It's just parroting other people's stories. 🦜🧦 -

If you come begging for my help when your Volkswagen gets a check engine light, I might actually be generous with my time and knowledge and tell you how to troubleshoot the specific code that generated the CEL. 'Might' is the operative word.

Online troubleshooting requires good communication; I will need you to give me the pertinent information that I will require in English. Will it be a problem for you to get someone to hook up a scanner to your Volkswagen's DLC and retrieve the code over there in Argentina? Without knowing the specific code generating your CEL, you will be like a blind squirrel in a haystack searching for a nut. (Which you are anyway, but that is not the way I troubleshoot.)

Slicing ham and pealing and slicing potatoes for scalloped potatoes for tonight.
There is one other tool that gets used nearly everyday.
My airfrier.
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

Scalloped potatoes? With cheese?
And what do you use your kitchen scissors
️ for? I use mine for anything possible from cutting small pieces of meat off a bone like pork chops, or cutting chicken breast. -

With cheese???
That would be augrauten!
I'm talking scalloped with bits of ham that I saved and chopped up into it.
As for the ham, I layer the slices with pineapple slices and brown sugar in a shallow pan I bake in the oven.
Mr Margo just put together a sweet potato casserole.
It's a special night. Our friends are married 40 years.
A few of our other friends are bringing side dishes and dessert.
Have a good evening.
