        Not totally sure:
Horse meat is generally described as tasting similar to very lean beef, often with a slightly sweeter, milder flavor and a softer texture. It is often compared to a cross between beef and venison or bison, owing to its deep red color and low-fat content.
        Key characteristics include:
        Flavor Profile:
It has a savory, slightly sweet taste, sometimes described as having a hint of iron, similar to gamey meats.
        Texture:
As it is very lean, it is tender but can become tough if overcooked, making it ideal for fast cooking methods like searing, or for raw dishes.
        Culinary Uses:
It is consumed in various ways globally, such as
        basashi
(raw) in Japan, as horse steak or burgers, and in Italian stews.
        Fat content:
The fat on horse meat is said to be softer and sometimes sweeter than beef fat.
It is frequently compared directly to beef, with many people noting that, when cooked, it is nearly indistinguishable from a lean cut of cow.

Eating horses should be animal cruelty. No wonder wild horses are difficult to catch. It's nature trying to save them from desperate hungry humans

                    not sure what you mean.
chances are you've also unwittingly eaten horse meat mixed in with your beef along with dolphins in your tuna

No, but I've seen it for sale in Quebec grocery stores. It's extremely red in colour when compared to beef.

                            Yep, tastes good.
And some of the best meat because horses aren't usually raised for meat production.
