Not seen that here. Just very cheap carpeting that wears out very quickly.

The US uses it now in most apartments and mobile homes. It’s cheap to replace when the person moves out.

Wall mount it. I hate the new design of the legs being spaced so far apart.

Mounting is the only correct choice. It's the one way to get a sound bar under the TV without blocking some of the screen.

Ugh that sucks! Tv’s are so cheap now. I would try to find one with a center leg and not the end legs. The stand is going to take up the whole wall. I went through this myself so we mounted it but I own my home.

TV are so lightweight now that if the riser is in the middle the TV is too easy to knock over. That's why they don't make them like that anymore
Even with the dual feet variety I would recommend finding a way to anchor the TV if you have pets, children, or drunks running about.

That makes a lot of sense. Thanks. Those tv’s weigh nothing. I would mount it if I planned to live in that apartment full time, landlord be damned. 🥹

Lmao I had the same problem in the past and only buy tvs with the stand in the middle now.
