When television chefs pick vegetables or herbs from their gardens they always bring it straight into the kitchen and chop it up before putting it into the cooking pots with the other food items. This must surely be wrong for there could be insects in it. Have you ever noticed that they don't inspect it or wash it first? Also, donner kebab, and presumably chicken kebab, is left to hang up under a cloth all night where I would have thought a fly could lay grubs on it. I used to eat kebab but lately I have stopped doing so for this reason.
