It was one of the only cheeses I could eat on its own because other cheese was too strong for me.
It's actually one of the few things that hasn't been veganised (you can get brie, camembert, cheddars, etc) but the thing is it's so processed that it must be nearly vegan anyway

Aw, that sucks. Like you say tho if any cheese substitutes were to be made, you'd think it would be that one

What is vegan cheese like anyway? I've been deciding more and more to make the switch over, but the only things I couldn't live without is cheese, milk, eggs & chocolate.

A lot of vegan cheese is pretty good these days but if you are expecting it to be exactly the same then you will probably be disappointed. Saying that, the Cathedral City plant based, I don't think many people would actually know that it was vegan. The first time I had it I kept checking the packet to make sure it was the vegan one because I had never tasted a vegan cheese that was so completely realistic. I would suggest you try that one. And Violife is a really good brand as well. Oatly barista oat milk is also really delicious and creamy.

I always buy cathedral cheese so I can understand why their plant based would taste good. I was watching some videos on oat milk. I never knew it was so easy to make your own! I think that's where I would struggle the most is with milk, but I've been hearing good things about alternatives. I have never heard of violife so I might give that a try and see what it's like.

Yeah, oat milk is crazy easy to make. I used to make it but mine isn't as good as Oatly so I buy it now instead

Please try the vegan Cathedral City and let me know 🥹 I'm really curious to know what a non-vegan thinks of it. -

Panda, I never said you didn’t have this kind of stuff in Europe.
I’m talking about an American brand of it like Smuckers.
What you had, you probably made by hand with those innocent peanuts and grapes.

Twinkies- tried one once, very sweet but not disgusting
Grits- no idea
Cheese in a Can- seen on TV but not in a hurry to try
Green bean casserole- I've talked to fbers about this and it sounds nice
Taco Bell Tacos- never had one, how bad could it be?
Sloppy Joes- not appealing to me, how does it stay together?
Corn Dogs- would not
Pineapple Pizza- doesn't everyone hate pineapple on pizza?
Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich- have tried and it's nice!
Biscuits and gravy- looks disgusting but apparently tastes amazing
Chicken and Waffles- don't know what it is
Pumpkin Pie- never tried but would
Large portions of anything- that's off-putting anywhere
You stupid fuckers, you know who you are. -

I would only eat Twinkies from time to time as a kid when I hadn't tried much other things. I have no interest in them now.
Green bean casserole is pretty bland. I only eat that during a holiday as a side dish if someone else made it and I'm being polite. Would not eat it otherwise.
Taco Bell is not as bad as it's made out to be but I see why others don't like it as much.
There are better Tacos than that and Mexican culture probably find Taco Bell an insult.
Sloppy Joes, I only do on rare occasion. They aren't so sloppy if you don't put that much on a bun.
Those were more common school lunches when I was a kid.
I would just a cheese burger instead.
I like Corn Dogs. Not sure why that is considered disgusting.
Pineapple Pizza, not my thing. I don't mind if others like it though.
Biscuits and gravy depends on the cook. It can go either way depending on who made them and how they turned out. Is usually a side dish.
Chicken and Waffles, I never had them together, only separately.
Pumpkin Pie also depends on the cook. Is good if made right.
Can be bad if not.
Large portions, they mean more than enough for one person, and I agree. Don't need to eat like a person from a YouTube mukbang.

I didn’t try grits until I was 30ish…..and in Georgia, home of grits.
They are fantastic with breakfast!
I’ve become a fan of green bean casseroles in recent Thanksgivings. Not bad.
Taco Bell is great, fast, cheap on the go food. Very tasty but please do not confuse this with real Mexican food because it is not.
I have still to this day never tried chicken and waffles together. And I live near a place that serves them.
Pineapple on pizza if great if you have ordered the other half of the pizza with pepperoni and jalapeños. Sweet and spicy contrast. Ya dig?
Ditto on most other stuff.

I'll always remember my mum trying to make me sloppy joes after watching it takes two. Whenever my mum used to make mince pies she used to ladle a bit out ino a bowl and we used to dip bread in it.

Idk if sloppy joes are just mince meat and gravy or what, but they taste good!
