It wasn't as gross as people say. Texture takes getting used to. The flavor is kinda beerish. Should've put some Sriracha and rice with it. I have a vouple other containers.
Wish you didn't have to eat it regularly to get the health benefits. It's super healthy.
Also got some durian cakes. I'm guessing the fruit is way stronger, but they were good. Hard to describe the flavor. Tropical, but pungent.

Asian supermarket. It always looked gross to me, but I wanted to try it just to say I did. The grossness is way overhyped. Same for durian snacks.
I wish we had one closer. We have a bunch of Asian run businesses. Surprised we don't. That and authentic Chinese restaurants. There is one right by this market, but 99% of the ones nearby are Americanized.

It smelled like a pungent/funky tropical fruit, but it's not as gross as it's hyped to be. It's to fruit what gorgonzola is to cheese.
Kinda hard to really get across the right idea. Something to experience firsthand.
It's all worth trying, even if you don't like it. Just the experience of trying something new is great.
I used be such a picky eater lol. I'd have never guessed I would've ended up trying this kind of stuff.
It shouldn't be too expensive to get at least the frozen kind. You're just out a fee bucks if you don't like it.
