I did a similar thing when working at a store and won the grand prize which was only a trip for two. I quit my job and went on the trip with a friend.

I think it used to be set up where most of the pieces were common but then you had a few really rare ones. Like if there were 20 pieces total, 15 would be common ones everybody has, 3 very uncommon and 2 rare af. It was something like that where he was able to game the system given his position

Make the delivery guy stand there whilst you check the items, then if something is missing make him credit you there and then.
