Were they in their shells and you had to peel them to eat them? Or did you eat the kind that are already out of their shells and ready to eat?
Sometimes it can be the spices added to the peanuts, or maybe it was all the fibre from the amount of nuts you ate?
Ever try boiled peanuts?

Did you read the label? Did they contain a lot of salt or some other seasoning. Also, when you have to peel them out of their shells, you'll eat fewer of them because it's less likely you can put the equivalent of several peanuts in your mouth at one time.
You can also try to buy them raw and roast them yourself (in the shell) and control how roasted they get.
If you haven't eaten peanuts in a while, it might just be from all the fibre in the nuts, especially if you're getting any cramping. If you just feel full, probably just ate too many, lol
PS: Try boiled peanuts. They might be easier on your stomach.
