Jelly has those both removed and is completely smoothed. Jelly looks like spreadable Jell-O. That's why jelly is for kids, and jam and preserves are for more sophisticated tastes.

, since jam has fruit chunks inside and jelly doesn't. Strawberry jam has small or tiny chunks of strawberries inside. Red Raspberry preserves has seeds inside. Jelly is easier to spread. The fruit chunks makes jams a little harder to spread. Preserves is in-between the two in spreadability.

There's also fruit spread but I don't buy that too often (can't recall when I last did) and don't know much about it. It's more expensive than the others, bnsat.
It goes in quality I would say; jelly, jam, preserves and fruit spread.

I'm actually okay with everything except for the raw cookie dough, and ketchup on eggs. Ironically, my late father liked ketchup on eggs.
And btw, them dang furriners shouldn't talk. They eat all kinds of disgusting stuff!

I love ketchup. I would eat raw cookie dough if I were baking cookies. I don't like processed cheese like American cheese but I like Cheez Whiz, even though I never eat it
