Bravia Sync issue

I have a KDL60EX645, with a Sony A/V Receiver (with a Blu-Ray and DVD player and DVD Recorder connected to A/V Receiver via HDMI) plugged into HDMI 1 on my TV. A new PS4 in HDMI 2, PS3 in HDMI 3 and a Wii U in HDMI 4.
I cannot get Sony Sync to work with my PS3 (It worked before I got the PS4, but I cannot get it to work on both PS3/4 and the components connected via my A/V Receiver). It does not show up under my HDMI Device list.
Does anyone know why?
My best guess is that my TV can only recognize a finite number (5?) of HDMI connected components for the purposes of Bravia Sync.
I can change the TV to HDMI 3 when I use my PS3, but I would strongly prefer to have Bravia Sync with my PS3 again if possible.

Your TV may only support one PlayStation box at a time. I can't tell exactly what you're wanting to use the CEC (Sync) interface to do though. Can you elaborate?
The A/V receiver switches between HDMI inputs, so the TV will only see one input from the receiver at a time. Your receiver and your TV may not share data both ways. If you can run everything through the receiver and use it as the hub to send CEC and networking signals through, that would be ideal. -

That was my first thought, but I unplugged the A/V Receiver and plugged the PS3 into that HDMI slot, and it recognized both PS3 and 4.

Just as a convenience. Hit the PS button on my controller and the TV powers up to the correct input, use the TV remotes to control the menus if my controller isn't nearby. I never watch movies/vidoes on it anymore, so it's not a big deal. Just something I didn't expect and would like to "solve".

The list for my HDMI Device Selection is:
Recorder 1 HDD/DVD
Player 1 - BD
Player 2 - DVD
Player 3 - PlayStation 4
Turner 1 - AV AMP
The devices in bold are all via my A/V Receiver, so it seems to recognize all of them all of the time.
If you can run everything through the receiver and use it as the hub to send CEC and networking signals through, that would be ideal.
The Receiver is already full, but the problem I found with that in the past was switching the "SCENE" to game everytime I played, the other SCENE's had a lag (Although that might not be a problem with the PS4, as that changed the SCENE automatically) I'll give this a try. Thank you.

That's why it's "forgetting" about your PS3 in the first place.
