This is NOT a joke, it's serious. I heard on the radio that they found some Romaine Lettuce wit E Coli. They did not say where it was found. They also said there's a low probability that you would become infected, but that it would be wise to avoid it for now.
So instead of Caesar Salad, get something else.

I returned the romaine I bought Sunday to WalMart last night. The customer service people knew what was going on, but the produce guys hadn't seemed to have gotten the word. There was plenty of romaine on the shelves, but I couldn't find any of the usual substitutes like leaf lettuce. I don't think I saw any iceberg either.
