Someone posted a link for the google groups, and I'll be there when this closes.

All of us still posting here are like the passengers on the Titanic who weren't able to get a lifeboat.just waiting for the ship to sink. LOL

Great metaphor! And if you look around at the other boards, there are people who are being kind and gracious, and others who are viciously savaging each other, just as you'd expect a modern day Titanic to be. The other boards people are mentioning are like bits of debris some are clinging to.
I guess it won't really hit me until the last day.

I'm assuming "the other board" is IMDb2?
I was here for 7 years. This reminds me of 2010, when the local Movie Gallery closed down.
There was no way to rent movies for about a year, until the Red Boxes came out.
Farewell, everyone. I might take on "themoviedb.org".

Okay Mugsy,
since you said "
If I Stay
(2014) was your favorite movie, and you asked my opinion, here now is my review.
I watched the entire film to give you my honest opinion, and my price for this service is reciprocity: YOU must watch & review MY favorite film:
Avalon
(1990)

I like you, Mugsy. You're a nice fellow and I respect you, so I'll not do you the disservice of offering up platitudes to mask the truth:
this film was not my cuppa tea.
I'm afraid I found it pedestrian and predictable.
SPOILERS TO FOLLOW!
As soon as I saw her Dad with that cello strapped to his back I had my suspicions, but when Mia started talking about how much she enjoyed playing I KNEW Juilliard was in her future.
And as soon as she and her best friend saw the teen "heartthrob" (guitarist whose name escapes me) I KNEW he would be her knight in shining armor AND the reason they would eventually have a conflict about Juilliard.
And the whole "out of body" flashbacks device, for me, was more of an annoying distraction than a useful tool; to me it seemed an unnecessary annoyance after it was used a third time. Half the time I had to ask, "is she
really there this time
as an omnipotent presence, or is this yet another semi-confusing flashback?
Sorry, Mugsythis one just was for me, but I'm sure it's a very special treat for some.

Count-I want to thank you for your honest review and you gave it a chance, that's all I can ask. I still respect and like you. I do have to admit, I'm a Chloe Moretz fan, so I was a bit biased, but I did enjoy it. I'm not ashamed to say that it did make me cry. :O)

Don't forget it's your turn to screen and review my favorite. I'd be interested in your opinion because I think you'll enjoy it as much as I have.

To you as well, Muggle!
I love this Board, and I always will. I made some great friends here.
And also got some of the best food tips, many of which I still use today.
I have signed up for a couple of the other boards so far, and I hope to see everyone there.
I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
