First, I can't believe the boards are closing. My hubby has been ill for the last week so I didn't know. I came back to the news of the closing. It's been so many years since I first started on the Sandbox. It's been a wonderful time of special memories from the Sandbox, Watercooler, Classic Film board and the Food and Drink board. Thank you all for the laughter, tears, great food recipes and especially the sharing of your lives and time with me. This board is more than just people talking..it's a family. My Imdb cookbook is huge now thanks to all of you and each time I cook one of the recipes, I'll think of you.
Hopefully, we'll be talking on new food boards. Take care, be good and my special good wishes for all of you.

Hi jodilyn. It's a tragedy to lose these boards after all these years, but give this one a trya lot of us are!

jodilyn:I hope your husband is getting better, I know hard it is, in 2014 & 2015 my husband was "ill" but he's doing great now. Hope to see you on one of the other boards.

He had a small stroke and Bell's Palsy but is doing much better now. The rehab is working amazingly. I'm so glad to know your husband is doing so good now.

jodilyn: a lady I knew in New Mexico also had a small stroke and Bell's Palsy, (she worked at a consignment shop I used to frequent), she returned to work after 3 months - one side of her face still drooped but several months after that, her face looked normal. I hope your husband has the same successful recovery.

I have been off a fair bit in the last month, too, and didn't know your husband was ill. I hope he continues to improve. You haven't had such an easy year, either.
I will so miss everyone and the fun and friendship. I've been here since 200, and have many fond memories, and a few real life friends, from here.
I hope to see you in one of our new boards.
