I would want to buy it, but I don't think it's for sale… just want to see the Christmas one it seems is popular, which we didn't own, I think, though we owned some things. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
came out in 1971.
I actually watched this when I was young, and my mom was good at ballet, did gymnastics in high school. I did gymnastics 1st and then did ballet. I found some other versions but not that respectful and were uptight, competitive, and criticizing, in my conclusions. We also watched ice skating, as she wanted to be an ice skater when she was a little girl. I preferred gymnastics and ballet. You could also get good at tumbling for ballet, but it seems rare. Another one I liked was
Mary Poppins
, changed my world and put me at ease. I watched this a lot even starting when I was 2 years old.
As for Hollywood, I miss late 1990s movies probably, but I didn't get to watch them much.
The Nutcracker
is great music, too. I want more movies of it. You know, I caught the Royal Ballet School and it looked good, on a documentary at my college library, and I later bought it but see I must have thrown it out.
Rats! I put it online but took it down and it's not for sale. Anyway, it showed a young girl and boy dancing between the Snowflakes. I think she had dark brown hair. For some reason, some people feel comfortable who have brown hair I find some and I'm totally out of the loop. Wait, this might be it.. but it was from Kultur so maybe not, with another Clara who was Japanese, I think.
