And what was your costume?

I don't remember the last time I went trick or treating. It had to be when we still lived in town though.
The last time I dressed up was for work and it was a '50's theme. I made an old skirt into a 'poodle' skirt, wore my hair in a ponytail with a red chiffon scarf tied on it, red rhinestoned 'cat-eye' sunglasses and lacy anklets.

Picturing you watching a Care Bears movie with a loaded gun and other weapons is funny and disturbing at the same time.
The last time I went trick or treating was when I was 12 years old. I went as a ninja. The last time I dressed up for Halloween was in 2004 and I went as Fidel Castro. -

Hmmm, 2006 I believe. I didn't dress in a costume though (I was in that stage where T-O-T-ing was "for little kids". You know how that goes). This was in upper MI, it was about 34 degrees and it even started to snow, lol! Before that I was used to CA Trick-or-Treating.
It was just 3 of us kids. My poor friend was dressed in a thin, red devil dress I cant' imagine how cold she must've been, I was shaking in a hoodie and jeans. At least the dude in our group was smart enough to wear an orange-ish Carhartt jacket and call himself a "pumpkin", bwahaha! Our other pal was an iPod (so new at the time).
Hey, the candy that Yoopers give out is top notch. We got expensive, king sized candy bars. You can even go into the local grocery store, video rental store, etc, and get candy (sigh Only up there). And you know those vids on YouTube where the person gets in a costume, sits still on their porch, and scares the kiddies when they come to get their candy? An old lady did that, about 70, in a fantastic scarecrow outfit, in that cold weather, and kind of got us. Hey, I say she did it first, before it became a trend.
