Why are kids so freaking huge now?? Serious question.

Is it all the growth hormones in food building up in their bodies? I see so many big ass kids when I'm out and about and sometimes a friend or whoever will introduce their kid to me and the kid is like 8 years old and over 5 feet tall lol. They weren't this big when I was young. I wonder why?

I'm not being mean to these kids I keep it to myself but it's weird how in just a generation or two kids have gotten so big.

I have noticed this as well. I have one friend whose daughter is about 6'5 But then a few other people I know, their daughters are about 5'10. I literally know one or two women of that kind of height but it seems fairly common for teenage girls to be around there or even taller.
