I did this in high school and college.
Idk if it burns far more easily. You will lose 10lb water and glycogen in like a week but youโll look less in shape because your muscles will lose a lot of what keeps them full. Thereafter in ketosis supposedly you can lose fat better. My suspicion is the real benefit is that youโre eating highly satiating foods making you eat fewer calories.
I found carb restriction (under 100g carb a day) worked way better and was more sustainable for fat loss. I donโt do that currently because I need the carbs to fuel performance.

This is pretty much what I maintain. I've done keto before, but it wasn't for me. I also had strange side effects from keeping my carbs under 10g per day. I opt for eating "lower" carbs but I'm not eliminating them. I've been eating zero carb bread, which is quite good. Measured steps to simply keep things in check.
