Why are you acting like fans can replace A/C? They cannot.

Sure but they are overkill for her situation.

Yeah, 82's (fahrenheit) not a bad temp for a summer day outside, but inside, that's too hot.
Ideally, inside is 69 to 71 fahrenheit. I think that's around 20 in celsius.
Also, UK houses are built to trap heat. If I had to live in the UK, I'd have to get an AC. Are hotels air conditioned at least lol?

If you want to give advice about anything, tell me how to eliminate dust! I go over everything with my flash magnet.. wipe it down.. and the next morning there's a layer of dust like I haven't even ****ing bothered! Really does send me it does lol. Even got one of those scrub daddy damp duster things but I prefer the flash duster as it sticks to it.

No I keep them closed with the blinds but have to keep the windows open as it gets even hotter. I don't think the console helps either.

Having the windows open lets the hot air in. You are supposed to keep the windows and the curtains closed.

okay, then it applies. just make sure you keep the windows on the top floor open so the hot air can circulate out. you don't always need to keep the bottom floor windows completely open this way (you can keep the sun out).
