I'm sorry. Insomnia is a living hell. The worst I ever had it was five days in a row. It is not a good thing.
Can you get your doctor to prescribe you Ambien? It can be slightly addictive, but I will never say anything but good things about Ambien.

Oh, yes! I would recommend you to tell your doctor that your friend told you that he or she has insomnia and takes Ambien (Zolpidem Tartrate) 10 mg. The sleep you get from is truly heavenly.
May I ask, do you live in the United States?

Well, not working is not very good for one's morale, but there could be a whole lot of underlying reasons for insomnia. I really need 8-9 hours sleep a night, so I am completely empathetic.
