— 4 years ago(May 19, 2021 05:48 AM)Well, I use cool-cold water so my hair doesn't fry up. It may not even be an inch long now. I cut it off to start over, plus it was fried with chemicals. Now, I'm a changed man and use hair masks on my hair for 10 minutes in the morning, if I make it, to shower, and 30 minutes at night. I'm also using hair lightening shampoo and conditioner that uses natural products. It's looking good! I don't apply direct heat and so far if I dry it use cold hair. I also put straightening serum in it.

I leave the lever at the middle between H&C but when done I like to turn it all the way to hot and just stand until it runs out. I've been using the massage setting on the side of my back since pulling left latissimus muscle months ago.

That's probably a good idea, too. I wish my parents could afford and would be interested in getting a hot tub. You can get one that you can swim in by swimming against the current in it.

I have been curious about those small pools designed for swimming against the current. I have never tried one of those. I think it would be fun though… good exorcise!

Actually, I'm already signed up for group swimming lessons when I move Up North in 2 weeks. I am on a waiting list for June but got the last seat for July. Level 1. I'm just not physically fit, that's why I'm like a beginner. I was physically fit and do exercise sometimes. Like, I was a health nut and exercised more before. That's why I'm joining Planet Fitness there, too. I haven't had a treadmill, except a manual one that was too hard my mom got. I'm so sad I'm not as physically fit as before. I have started more workout videos, using Amazon Prime and Be Fit there. I hope I can continue in the group home. I even got clothes that I could work out in to wear all day in case I want to work out throughout the day.

Exercise is so important. It not only keeps a body fit, but also relieves stress.
I have a treadmill. I use it every morning. It's really nice to have where I live. We have long cold snowy winters. That makes it difficult to get out and walk. I'm lucky to have it.

I was interested in skiing, too.
I did hear it's so dangerous it's like risking your life when I was younger, but I was Down South my whole life. So, I may do that. I did ballet, so ice skating would be easy in that regard. People make it look so hard by dedicating their life to it. It seems like it would be nice to be yourself and just glide out in the snow. I'm used to seeing hard stuff in the Olympics, but I appreciate the simple things. I think I even heard it'd be bad to start as an adult as opposed to as a child. My mom actually preferred figure skating, but they didn't have it. She went on to do ballet, and gymnastics in high school, where she actually won #1.
