Study: majority of Americans have covid brain

Oh, I'm not worried about getting covid. I just realized how dirty and germ-ridden is everything. I'm just too self conscious about it now. Before I never even thought about it.
I think that's what they mean by "covid brain". The habits are hard to break now.

That's smart.
Humans are covered in micro bugs, dust mites, and poop.
It's impossible to be clean and thus you should not worry about it much.
I am around extremely filthy people with diseases and so forth all day for decades and I rarely get sick. I shake hands and the whole thing.
Also, I know of only a very few people who had corona and no one who died. I had it last Feb and hit the gym and got rid of it quickly.
I found a 2003 Chinese study, from another outbreak there, and they noted that keeping a high body temp through exercise killed it quickly. They also used herbs that raised body tempt but they were dangerous, I researched them.
So, I made sure that I was sweating it up somehow daily. That has been my method of killing disease for decades.
The is some dust mite ****ting on your face right now and you will be okay. Basic hygiene is important to stop things from going crazy, but you don't need to be obsessed with it.
In addition, corona is not that dangerous for most people and neither is most common virus and bacteria in the west. -

I was a ridiculous germophobe as a child. What finally cured me was sex!
I mean only an idiot would pass up sex for fear of the natural fluids on another person's body. I had sex. I loved it. I didn't die. So I was like meh, focus on what's important, and a little sweat and body fluids are not a threat.
Of course the whole STD issue is still there. But one can be safe and still enjoy.
But I've gotten used to taking simple precautions now. I'm sure it will help me cut down on colds and flues just to wear gloves in the supermarket and wash everything when I get home. That's not a big deal.

That's really interesting.
However, I know, typically women, who can be like licking someone's anus one minute but won't touch a doorknob another. That is really stupid.
So, your real life experience and mind got together to help out.
Germ people are typically ignorant and narcissistic. They do not want to learn about the microscopic world. Also, they see the garbage man, etc and it okay for them to touch trash, but they think if they touch they will die.
So, with hardcore people like this it's not about germs, it's about being angry at the world and wanting to isolate.
My friend has a son like this and I am always telling her that it's psychological and has nothing to do with germs. I saw a recent pic of this kid and now he has a tattoo.
So, you're afraid of your own shadow but let some stranger dig at your skin with ink and a needle?
Come on!
Anyway, I am glad you got over this nonsense. Sex is really hilarious when it is compared to people wanting everything to be clean. You're licking pee and poop particles, etc and you are completely fine. -

Well, you're one who has been saying the fear of the disease is mostly media hype and a government excuse to over regulate, have you not?
So "covid brain" is hypochondria about bacteria. There are reasonable precautions. And then there is neuroticism and overkill.

Yes, I literally didn't know what it was getting at.
What I've noticed is that people will not research things ever though google is right there.
Nearly anyone had an actual mask that stops anything. All of the masks other than N95 ones are useless.
Women I know were KNITTING masks and it's like "Doy, I have a mask" because it looks like a mask BUT IT IS NOT! So, you sat there knitting one….but never bothers to learn what you needed to make.
It's like making pants out of tissue.
Anyway, I wondered last year, due to all the weird election stuff and violence if corona had caused brain damage in some people. I legit wondered about it because it causes loss of smell in some and that's your brain getting damaged.
Thanks for clarifying. -

I think that most people do. It's strange to think of how quickly we adapted to wearing masks, social distancing, Yadda Yadda Yadda, right from the start.
Now, over a year and chapped hands later, watching movies and TV shows made before 2020 make me cringe at times. "Why didn't she wash her hands after touching that?" is a fleeting thought that goes through my mind. I don't even want to think about scenes where people are crowded into elevators.
While I actually think hand washing and paying attention to cleanliness is a good thing, especially in public places, I do believe that we won't be as close as we once were. We will think twice about hugging and handshakes. We'll have to smile and say "Hi". Nothing wrong with that.
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.
