This is a follow up from the other cough drops thread.
The best cough elixir EVER! No sugar and it tasted like crap from hell, but it really worked. Can't get it in New Zealand any more. What happened?
Oh… Here's what happened:
They stopped selling it because they want people to DIE! That's the only reason why Novartis bought it out. Novartis wants you to spend money on all it's other EPIC FAIL medication. They don't make money if Buckley's is the only thing that works. Everything else is candy…Robitussan, Halls, Airborne, etc. Buckley's is like liquid Vicks, that you can drink, and it's an expectorant, which pushes the illness out of your body through your bowels. Novartis does not want that. They want you to waste money on their epic fails, and never get better…then you can die broke. So they bought Buckleys out, and removed it from the shelves. Don't believe their excuse about it not being tamper-proof…all lies. Hell, BLEACH is not tamper-proof, but they sell it. -

The best expectorant I've used is guaifenesin tablets. I take around 3 at a time if my cough is pretty bad
It liquifies mucus so it's easier to get rid of it

Sweet! I managed to get rid of that cough I had and I don't have that congestion in my chest (for now)
