Who is he?
As per the Jewish Press, Eshed served as the head of Israel’s security space program from 1981 to 2010 and over the years received the Israel Security Award three times, twice for confidential technological inventions.
The 87-year-old has a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from Technion, a master’s degree in performance research, and a doctorate in aeronautical engineering. In 1965, he worked in the technological unit of the IDF Intelligence Division in research and development positions. Later in 1969, he was assigned by the IDF Military Intelligence to study for a doctorate in aeronautical engineering in the US. When he returned, he was appointed head of the research and development department in the Intelligence Corps. He retired with the rank of lieutenant colonel.

"The Unidentified Flying Objects have asked not to publish that they are here, humanity is not ready yet," he said.
"There is an agreement between the U.S. government and the aliens. They signed a contract with us to do experiments here," he said.
How is Trump involved?
Eshed added that President Donald Trump was aware of the extraterrestrials' existence and had been "on the verge of revealing" information but was asked not to in order to prevent "mass hysteria."
"They have been waiting until today for humanity to develop and reach a stage where we will understand, in general, what space and spaceships are," Eshed said, referring to the galactic federation.
In May, Trump said, "Space is going to be the future, both in terms of defense and offense … we're now the leader on space," as he was presented with the official flag of a newly created military branch, Space Force.

No way Trump wouldn't have blabbed it.
That being said, it's an interesting story. But the source is 87 years old so it should be taken with a grain of salt.

I wish a reporter would figure out his motivation for saying this, whether he is sincere, senile, trying to sell a book, or lying for some darker purpose. It is a very strange thing for a former high ranking government official to say and people just brush it off like it is another funny story in the news. Did they even have the curiosity to ask him what he based his opinion off of? Official sources? Some crazy UFO book? The X-Files? -

There’s a copy of the original transcript floating out there but I couldn’t find it (I’m on my phone). But I do vaguely remember him saying he was ready to reveal it bc he doesn’t think humanity would write it off today as opposed to before. And now that he’s well retired and established, it wouldn’t hurt him to do so
Not sure if I really believe him. Another article mentioned that Israel and USA are planning a new space initiative and maybe this interview is intended to drum up support for it?
I’d love to see this so called contract tho… what gives the US the right to sign a contract on behalf of the planet?
