I recall a pivot table section and everyone looked like deer in headlights. Some of them in areas where they should have been using it. I wanted to run out screaming.
If you can’t say something nice, say something clever but devastating. -

I can go back a touch further to some people who used to type into the formula bar what they wanted =SUM(A1,A2,A3,A4) and all the variations you could think of and often they forget the function they were looking for.
Well, once they noticed what the ƒx button was for
and then
what holding down shift or control would do when selecting cells, columns or rows you should have seen the joy in their faces
I'm pretty sure productivity went up through the roof after I'd shown them that

Amazingly, none of the parents knew about this either.
Paints and clays.
I need a Xani. This has stressed me out!
What do you mean none of the parents knew about this? I don't even have kids and I ask children to show me what they learned in school and draw and things when they're around and I can't get rid of them.
Don't they make cards, posters and signs and all of that kids' stuff?
And surely the teachers tell the parents at parent's nights and things?!?

Parents don’t pay attention in the US. It doesn’t appear many have asked their kids to show them anything. Teachers are daycare providers basically. Most things made are in printed form. Teachers aren’t always forthcoming. Ugh, it all makes me ill.
If not for learning then what's the points of schools?

Socializing and daycare is what schools are for nowadays, apparently! Students don’t even learn to read. They just keep getting passed to the next grade. No child left behind policy. It’s sick really. US schools have taken a tremendous dive.
But without educated students you don't have an educated workforce and on a global scale (With automation always increasing effective delivery) that means you don't have a competitive economy
I mean it's an effective invasion of a country with the second amendment because it takes longer than a war but has no casualties to photograph being killed. Illiterate dumb adults will not be difficult to coerce into voting themselves into total subjugation in 20-30 years if this continues through.
Ah well, I'll likely be dead by then but at least people will be happy

Stupid people are rarely happy or are they? ugh!
At least my middle son knew about this and has taught his kids. I’m surprised my oldest son’s wife wasn’t on top of this?
Our workforce has been full of illiterates for some time now. Any customer service is proof of that.
I’m like you, hopefully death soon!
With AI doing all the thinking jobs, automation doing all the physical it doesn't seem like we need that many people around any more Elle

I’m getting more depressed by the moment.
Ever heard of Lesbian Dance Theory? Look it up. It was brought to my attention. I’m out of touch.
It's when some women tell you that you move wrongly and that they take it as a personal insult.
Imagine Mean Girls (2004) but somehow it's allowed and saying otherwise makes you someone who should be killed violently and with a baying mob cheering on
