Arrest video of a young teacher who sent a joke message to 3 of her friends saying she wanted to shoot a student. Snapchat detected the message and reported it to the FBI. -

This is weird. As someone who has had sessions with a psychiatrist, the psychiatrist doesn't report you to law enforcement when your answer that yes you have thoughts of harming others.
IT is if you HAVE made plans to harm yourself or others. I guess doctors have that doctor/patient confidentiality agreement.
Snap chat doesn't have the confidentially agreement with the user.
Even still, just feeling that you want to shoot someone is far different that saying you are going to shoot someone and you talk about how you plan to shoot that person.

Here is where I need more specific details. Like exactly what we're the words she posted about the student???
Was she actively making plans to shoot the student?
Also, the manner in which she sent the post concerns me. She went to great lengths to be secretive. The teacher knew what she was doing though. She sent the posts via private direct messaging. And she knows that posts can be automatically deleted on Snapchat.

A naughty student went to the teacher's desk and shut off her computer while she was in the middle of making her lesson plan.
She sent a message to 3 of her friends telling them what happened and said something along the lines of "I'm gonna shoot that little brat". -

I don't see how it was a death death threat. It was a stupid thing to do. She could have sent the student to the principal's office and be done with it
It wasn't necessary to tell your friends that got want to kill the brat.
