1980s we had our first computer. It was a Commodore 64. I didn't start using forums until the 2000s.

1995 for first computer.
A year later for first forum (s). I mostly browsed them.
I was using Usenet newsgroups and AOL originally.
I used chat rooms, Messengers and E-mailing more than using forums.
1999 for webcaming.

I hopped around. I remember someone making a comment to me saying,
Wow, you really get around! Is there any group you're NOT in?
I don't think I was on that many though. I was popular in a couple.
I landed in a Warez group and was taught a lot there about pirated software, even though I was on a dialup connection and couldn't really download anything other than a couple small apps that quickly became obsolete after a Windows update.
