Not to be "that guy". But those are Geese. The one that's gray on top, and has a white bottom, is a Toulouse, or French goose. We had one when I was a kid.

Nothing wrong with being "that guy." I posted "ducks" because that's what the title said, but after looking at their long necks, I should have recognized, as you said, that they are geese. I was entranced by the way they collectively and simultaneously looked up at the bright sky to watch it, and have a discussion about it, thinking, "this is what our great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandparents warned us about! It's happening again!"
