Inside, I only have orchids and spider plants. And one wee polka dot plant. None are toxic to cats. I have ivy but that's completely out of reach, no way they can get to it.

I know! πŸ˜… I've had to move mine out of reach. They're not interested in orchids so I have 5 of those. πŸ˜…

I had a friend who purposely grew them for her cats. They love pawing at the "babies".

Keep them damp and out of direct sunlight and they should be fine. I haven't even repotted mine yet and it hasn't complained. Yet.

I learnt my lesson about toxic plants when my then kitten jumped into a bin containing lilies that were being thrown out .. she got the pollen all over her face and ended up on a drip for 48 hours.

Yeah …. she was fine but it was a quick lesson in how deadly some plants can be. I think the second most toxic after lilies is that Christmas plant, the ponsetia or something (spelt wrong I know).

Yeah, the main one is a Poinsettia. I've never bought any and they always drop their leaves too. Definitely not safe for a pet household. My dogs used to go crazy for fallen hibiscus flowers and would practically fight over them. I recently found out they are mildly toxic to dogs.

There's a patch of daffodils that come up every year in the front of the property. I swear Zeus gets into it and that's why he gets ill around that time every year so far. πŸ˜‘ He's only super smart when it comes to anything food related or attention related.
