I don't believe you.
Where did you find the time to do that?
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

See, I go to bed early, take naps and wake up early. Unlike you that just sits on here all ****ing day long and then get up off your ass to cook dinner and then get back on here posting bullshit ignorant stuff to us. -

I couldn't breath. It was like something was in their feathers. I cleaned out the cage too. That one Emmy was inside. I had that cage stuffing stuff. All it does is breed germs I think cuz the odor was hard to pin down. I kept looking for dirty clothes. It took me a while to figure out that it w
as that cage stuffing stuff. It didn't look filthy but it was breeding germs in the air.
So I switched to newspaper to line the bird cages. So far, it's cheaper and less stench.
So I sprayed down the birds. At first Sapphire was scared but then he realized it was a bath with water. Emmy still flew away. But I keptee spraying Emmy cuz she needs a bath and neither will take one themselves.
Newspapers aren't really the right covering for the bottom of the cage.
Already saw it in one of your many sweeeeeet photos, Donna-darling.
But spray ahead! ☼

Perhaps it'll be only 2 weeks. -

She’s killing them.
Yep.
And because I just saw other
real budgie experts
are here in the thread:
Newspaper isn't that good.
Bird sand disinfects bird droppings, provides valuable minerals and contains small stones that are good for digestion. Not all birds accept the sepia shells or the gnaw stones and rather pick it up from the ground.
But now I'm relieved that others care for the budgies also. 🦜🦜
Not only for their cuteness. ☻
While Donna's budgies are on death row anyway.

It’s sad she comes here to bitch but won’t take sound advice. She’s a nasty piece of work. I’m starting to doubt she even has birds. She’s lied before with pics taken from Google.
Really, really hope you're right and she even doesn't
have
the budgies. 🦜🦜
It started with the mistreated baby turtle
, as well as I know.
Then the snake she allegedly met…with the pic
"from Google"
.
AFTER
hints from the community she even pretended to be a
snake-expert
who figured on her own what snake exactly it was (she posted/edited
later
at the beginning). ☻

Needed to look for it, don't know what
joker
sorted it to the TWD-board.
As
Donna-dork
anyhow likes to copy from others to create new OPs.
Don't want to call her a
copycat
, though that's what she is.
But that would be an insult to cats who are very honest little killers.

I looked it up, using the keywords: “giving budgies a bath”.
Apparently it’s a good idea to at least offer them a daily bath. The water should be at least luke warm. Avoid spraying them in the face, and allow them to air dry. But make sure that there are no drafts, and the room is reasonably warm. Some actually don’t mind being dried with a blow dryer, but others are frightened by it.
Some birds like to have a running sink, and will bathe themselves under the tap. Apparently there are special bathing bowls that allow them to take a bath on their own, and that prevent them from splashing water all over the place.
Anyhow. You learn something new everyday.

Why are you telling me this? Lol!
They already have a bird bath from day one. They never use it. So I spray them with a mist of water. I don't put them under running water cuz they won't let me get that close anyway. But directly under running water isn't safe for them cuz they could drown.
The spray mist water is fine. At least they got a little wet and I don't even own a blowdryer anyway but I wouldn't even use a blow dryer on a bird. That's insane.
