Lago means land. To morph is to gradually change, so it's not usually a word associated with non-living entities. I don't recall it ever applying to a plant, but it could relate to a pest insect that a gardener has to exterminate.
So, the question is, what creature is a land changer?
I'm going to say gardener, assuming that it's to do with a pest that damages soil.

Just Googled it. It's Latin for "water surrounded by land", which of course is going to most often be a lake.
Not sure why my brain failed me so badly there.
Obviously, in Googling it, I've realized what the right answer is, but I'll keep that to myself.
