Tremendous fireworks display outside my window.

Lived in NYC some years back.
Went up on the roof one Independence Day to watch the fireworks down below and almost got shot off the building when a rocket went zipping past my face. After that, I stayed with everyone on the street.

It sounded like there was a bombardment in all directions but my cat paid no mind and was only interested in being fed. I think outdoor pets must be made of sterner stuff.

At least I don't have any pets. Nobody sems o be bothered by the noise when it starts because they are inside their homes with their pets. I got tired of fireworks because it's boring to see them every single day.
