They look smooth and hairless in the right lighting. It might even look smooth to the eye under a house light, at times.
But go to a pool on a summer day where the sunlight is shining bright. When the light hits their tush at just the right angle, where the light is reflecting off the hairs, you can see it's covered in peachfuzz. COVERED!
In some cases, women's faces can be hairier than men's, because men shave their face, but women don't, and unless they shave or wax, there's a millimeter length blonde hairs on their mustache and cheeks.
All the girls here have mustaches. Nettie probably has hair on her toes. Seriously.
Lighting does wonders. This is what women really look like in direct sunlight or florescent lights without makeup: Always get halogen or LED lighting!
In the last pic, look at the little hairs on her right cheek. Notice you can't see them on the front of her face, but on the side: because at that angle, the hair is absorbing the light and creating a stronger shadow, while the front hairs have no shadow due to the position of the light.
In the first pic, notice the top of her face appears clear, while midway through we start to see hair and imperfections. That's lighting. What we are seeing are the SHADOWS the wrinkles and hair create.

It humanizes them more, so they don't look like perfect angels all the time.
It's why, I don't get how couples can be married. Because then the man would see all the woman's human functions. And he has to maintain a sexual attraction to this woman for decades. Part of what makes women attractive is that they're aliens who always smell nice and don't have pores, body hair, or bodily secretions.
Take all that way, it's like having sex with a dude.
The men in all married relationships are gay on some level.
