It's fake. It's gotta blank stare. If it was real it would have points of light in it's eyes like this fella:

Yeah, the eyes don't look real bright, but that could be partly due to the filming angle or the use of lighting (or lack thereof) by the photographer. The fur looks quite genuine, though. They must've skinned a few cats of different colors to get the fur pattern they were looking for.

It's very well made, I'll say that. The nose, the fur, everything looks like the real thing. And I've seen cat breeders come up with very bizarre varieties.

Yep, that's what made me do a double-take. At first I thought it was a really well-made toy, but then I was thinking maybe it's a new cat breed I've never seen before.
