People have mocked my embrace of AI. They say my inventions will come to naught. I recieved proof yesterday that those folks are wrong.
One of my ideas was a was to mine ferrous mineral heavy rivers. The river brings the silt right to you you just need to use a magnet to collect the material. Easy in theory. Hard in design. Current can wash away a lot of material.
But I kept at it until I figured out a way to do it. Then the AI informed me that not only would my idea work. It already does. Someone invented and built it over 30 years ago. It is real a money making idea. My idea was legit just late. My other ideas are legit as well. They have even more work put into them then the magnetic dredge.
So, my doubters be damned. AI works if you understand how to use it.

No one thought of a practical way to pull magnetic material from river silt without the current wasing it all away until the 90's. Then you also have to be selective. Not all river have high enough concentrations to make them viable. The first such machine was built in 96.

They got back to me once. Pointed out one problem with lithium harvesting. Luckily I was already working on the next upgrade. It was easy to work in a fix. I just had to remove the magnesium and calcium first. I had considered doing that in the beginning but determined that it wasn't profitable enough on its own. I just worked that step back into the process. Easy fix.
