That's the far side of the moon. The side we never get to see from earth because it is always facing away from us.
Weird, but it's true. The moon spins on its axis at a speed that always keeps that side out of our sight.
It's the side where the aliens have bases and skyscrapers and amusement parks and torture chambers for abductees.
