That's really not a bad price at all. If I recall correctly, the last time I used one of those great big washing machines for the extra-large loads, I think I paid around $6, and that was quite a while ago. I remember living in an apartment (and I think you and I spoke about it, or it might've been

who I was talking with), and we were living on the top (4th) floor, and the washers and dryers were in the basement (so technically, that was 5 floors I had to go up and down all the time!)
It was crazy insane the type of setup they had! Each building only had 4 washers and 4 dryers, and they were the regular sized ones: nothing supersized available for any of us. I think the price was $4.25 per wash and people were always screwing with the dryers, like taking your clothes out and putting theirs in, or if you weren't sitting right there when the clothes dryer went off, people would rush to take them out and pile the damp clothes on one of the only two tables down there and pile their clothes in the dryer. There was zero room for consideration, empathy, or patience.

The last time that I used a laundry before this was in the Air Force
We had a duffle bag for our laundry and while I was out someone had swapped my new bag for their old one

Ahh. We were using those green military duffel sacks. Good and bad. Good because we could fit all our laundry in them. Bad because that meant those suckers were extremely heavy!

That's when/how you find the natural dancers. One of my closest friends, who was a total blonde bombshell with bright blue eyes and bright blonde hair down to her waist, was like that. When the rest of us were just going up to dance, she went up to the floor to
DANCE!
Her boyfriend at the time was also a really good dancer, and they would do these intricate dances together. They entered a lot of competitions.
