I remember scaring my sister that the movie is based on true story because we ARE in the Matrix!
I was a mean, mean brother. But it also make sense if we are indeed in The Matrix. That way, I would fight someone in perfect choreographed fight and jump from building to building as well as fly across the globe.
But my artistic taste was hoping for What Dreams May Come type of afterlife, though.

You'd like Ellen DeGeneres. It's sorta sad to know such facts on the inside order to make a statement on the outside, like "when your heart stops beating." She'd never say that, though, maybe just things like, "You suck," seem to be the mandate. It's probably true, and if she ever read I said that I hope she'd not take you harshly for supporting such a tangentโ€ฆ

I have tried to induce out of body experiences but have never been successful. Doctors can tinker with a certain region of the brain to induce them but I don't have the necessary equipment. A lot of people counter reports of near death experiences by pointing to those people who have died and been resurrected and experienced nothing, but that at most proves that not everybody has the same experience, not that the only real experience is the null experience. Maybe some people go to an afterlife and other people just fizzle out.

Wouldn't that be dangerous? What if you mess up and you end up in interminable coma with slim chance of waking or in catatonic state? But I did have OOB experience naturally a few times. It was freaky. Same thing happened to my sister. Sometimes we both also have dreams that tend to come true, but that happens from time to time, infrequent.

How about when I was like 16/17?
              Better?
PS Yeah, there are so many theories and possibilities. We'll never know until after we actually die. Scary thing is: the dead don't usually tell a tale from the other side unless if they are brought back. Even if they are brought back, they may be dismissed as a dream because the brain will remain active for a while until the heart is restarted.

If you want to see a very funny and somewhat twisted TV show on this subject, check out
                  "Dead Like Me":
It only lasted two years, but it was brilliant and hilarious imho:

I guess they had to make more room for that reality tv Kartrashian clan stuff.

Yes it was, and it only lasted two years I believe. My theory is that the network suits were

I would hate it some shows were so good they get canned.
Like Carnivale. It was an awesome, but only lasted two seasons with somewhat open/closed ending. It has been 14 years since that show was cancelled. But I did watch other supernatural shows like The Ghost Whisperers and of course, Supernatural.

It had me wondering if they have gone to their own afterlife or go to the same world, but different parts? Who knowsโ€ฆ..
I also read about the guy who died, went to hell, then came back. He sounded so traumatized he killed himselfโ€ฆ..which would send him back to hell, doesn't it? I'd go on explain how each layer happen, but I'm a bit too lazy so I'll post a pic. Here it is:

About the latter, that's what I'm thinking. Like you're guilty of something then you go to hell and whatever is making you guilty will loop endlessly with a false hope that it will change for the better. I'd call it personal hell. There are so many versions of hell. My favorite version of it is Dante's Inferno, where you'd get lost in the first circle, then move on to the hottest level then to the coldest (or is it the hottest? I can't remember), and deepest level where Satan resides.

Yeah. I fear to think what it will bring should I ever go to hell. And I agree. So many beliefs and possibilities I even don't know which one is the true version or they're all just figment of our imagination, something we make up and believe it as true?
Some people can be good and some people can be pure evil. I call myself shades of grey, just like many people on this board. No one is perfect. We all make mistakes and I think we shouldn't torture ourselves over it.
