It had me wondering if they have gone to their own afterlife or go to the same world, but different parts? Who knows…..
I also read about the guy who died, went to hell, then came back. He sounded so traumatized he killed himself…..which would send him back to hell, doesn't it? I'd go on explain how each layer happen, but I'm a bit too lazy so I'll post a pic. Here it is:

About the latter, that's what I'm thinking. Like you're guilty of something then you go to hell and whatever is making you guilty will loop endlessly with a false hope that it will change for the better. I'd call it personal hell. There are so many versions of hell. My favorite version of it is Dante's Inferno, where you'd get lost in the first circle, then move on to the hottest level then to the coldest (or is it the hottest? I can't remember), and deepest level where Satan resides.

Yeah. I fear to think what it will bring should I ever go to hell. And I agree. So many beliefs and possibilities I even don't know which one is the true version or they're all just figment of our imagination, something we make up and believe it as true?
Some people can be good and some people can be pure evil. I call myself shades of grey, just like many people on this board. No one is perfect. We all make mistakes and I think we shouldn't torture ourselves over it.

That's why I think we create our own Heaven and our own Hell based on how we've lived our lives but also what we expect. We're responsible for where we end up and what the "experience" is like.
I believe in "something" because I believe in the Soul, and that cannot be defined, or measured, or located with science. (And it's not 7 grams).

Imagine a scenario in your head then you either hurt yourself or scare yourself. I hate overthinking.
Tell that to the "scientist" in the first reply post in this thread. His post is a little confusing, but it appears he believes soul can be explained scientifically.

I think people can read too much into things that have scientific backing, however. Like people who report seeing bright light or certain visuals, when it's actually chemical reactions within the brain. So as far as that goes, I think a lot
can
be explained through science and the nervous system shutting down, and information just passing along neuropathways.
The whole "7 gram" theory was because of a doctor who wanted to weigh the human soul and was determined to measure the weight of people at the moment of their death to see if there were any variances from their pre-death weight to their after-death weight, and somehow they came up with a 7 gram weight. But if I recall correctly, that got debunked or explained away through scientific terms.
That being said, still using science:
As much as we can explain the human body, we cannot explain consciousness. Where does that energy "go" when we die?

I think there's the term called reincarnation where one life ends then move on to begin a new life by being something else or someone else.
It's kind of hard to explain how we are conscious right now. Is it a Soul watching from deepest part of our bodies or is it simply a brain being active? Who knows.

Some day all the meta data collected from a human over a life time of on line computer useage will be able to form a general description of a users soul and personality and will be able to down load his avatar into a robot ,kind of like cylons of Battlestar Galactica
