Figure skating is an exceptional athletic sport. I love watching figure skating. What they do is incredible, and imagine doing all of that while on two blades over ice!? It's amazing. They have to be so fit as well.
When Tanya Harding did the triple axel, she was docked points
because she expressed excitement at having pulled off that extremely difficult move without wiping out on her ass.
They want the skaters to not show any emotions (except the Stepford smile of course). They even have to all sit the same way on the bench with, I believe it's the right ankle over the left one. Quite strict. The degree of technical difficult of the triple axel that Tanya pulled off, remains just as difficult to this day.

I love watching ice-skating, skateboarding, motorbiking, ballet, archery, burlesque, gymnastics, and I really love parkour. I'm very into body mechanics, and I enjoy watching how an individual can move their body and manipulate and coordinate their moves.
I don't like team sports. They do nothing for me. I quite enjoy watching the human body move independently. Ice-skating is so incredibly beautiful. I also like ballroom dancing.
How could anyone not love watching this woman move?

Not into any of those. I'm into team sports, actually just THE Team Sport,
the NFL!
All other team sports are just a way to occupy time while waiting for the NFL to return!

When I was a preteenager/teenager in New Orleans, we roller bladed in a rink. I didn't feel especially glamorous doing it.

Yes, when I was younger, I used to ice-skate just for the fun of it, both outdoors and at the rinks, and I also played hockey.
I don't skate anymore, though.
I used to roller skate as well, but I fell down an awful lot!

I think my generation either did not enough skating or too much.
My dad's youngest sister used to roller skate/blade and so did her daughter born in November 1991. She was considered fearless.
